Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

TinyThink is committed to protecting the privacy of children and their families. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices parents have.

Who we are

TinyThink ("we," "us," or "our") operates the TinyThink mobile application and website at tinythink.app. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and their families. For privacy-related questions, contact us at privacy@tinythink.app.

Who this policy is for

TinyThink is directed at children ages 3–10 and is intended to be used with parental or guardian involvement. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app or visit our website. Parents and guardians should review this policy and supervise their child's use of TinyThink.

Information we collect

We may collect the following types of information: • Child profile information: avatar selection, age group or learning path, and display name (if provided by a parent). • Gameplay progress: games played, stars earned, coins collected, streaks, achievements, and difficulty settings. • Parent account information: email address, subscription status, and Parent Zone preferences (session timers, learning path toggles, reward settings). • Device information: device type, operating system version, app version, and general device settings needed for app functionality. • Crash logs and diagnostics: anonymous error reports to help us fix bugs and improve stability (if enabled). • Website analytics: aggregated, non-identifying usage data when you visit tinythink.app (such as pages viewed and referral source).

What we do not do

TinyThink is designed with children's safety in mind. We do not: • Sell personal information, especially children's data, to third parties. • Display behavioral advertising targeted at children within the app. • Collect more information than is reasonably necessary for the educational experience. • Share children's personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

How we use information

We use collected information to: • Provide and personalize the educational experience. • Track learning progress, stars, coins, and achievements. • Enable Parent Zone features such as session timers and difficulty controls. • Process subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play. • Improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new games. • Respond to support requests from parents and educators. • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

Third-party services

TinyThink may use the following third-party services: • Apple App Store — subscription billing and app distribution on iOS. • Google Play — subscription billing and app distribution on Android. • Vercel — website hosting for tinythink.app. • Analytics providers (if enabled) — aggregated, privacy-respecting usage analytics for the website only. These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage parents to review them. We require service providers to handle data consistent with this policy and applicable law.

Data storage and security

We store data on secure servers with industry-standard protections including encryption in transit and access controls. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. Parent account and child profile data are associated with your account and accessible through the app and Parent Zone.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the TinyThink service. If you request deletion of your child's data or close your account, we will delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing agreements). Anonymous, aggregated data that cannot identify individuals may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under privacy laws such as GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and the right to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, email privacy@tinythink.app with your account email and a description of your request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify parents through the app or by email. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
